Why is this play significant?

It's the first production to be presented under the auspices of Theatre in the Round Ltd after the company which founded Theatre in the Round at the Library Theatre - Studio Theatre Ltd - moved to Stoke-on-Trent to found the UK's first professional theatre in the round venue. It's also the first play by Noël Coward to be produced by the Scarborough company.

Notes

This production was the first to be presented by Theatre In The Round Ltd, the company which ran the theatre for two years after Studio Theatre Ltd - the company which founded Theatre in the Round at the Library Theatre in Scarborough - moved to a new permanent home at the Victoria Theatre, Stoke-on-Trent. The company worked on a very restrictive budget as much of the money for Theatre in the Round at the Library Theatre had gone to Stoke-on-Trent.
Fallen Angels was the first play by Noël Coward to be produced at Theatre in the Round at the Library Theatre.
Fallen Angels was presented without an interval.
