These pages contain a list of every play produced in Scarborough by Theatre in the Round at the Library Theatre, the Stephen Joseph Theatre in the Round or the SJT.The list includes every professional play performed by the company including details of its author, first performance and whether it is a new play which premiered at the venue. Certain significant plays are linked with further details.
It has been compiled by Alan Ayckbourn’s Archivist, Simon Murgatroyd M.A., who was also the Archivist for the SJT between 1993 and 2022. As such, it is not an official list. However, this list comprises more than two decades of research into the company and the author believes it is the most authoritative and accurate list of productions available.
