Why is this play significant?

The first of Alan Ayckbourn and Paul Todd's ten musical revues to be staged at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in the Round and the first production from theatre in the round in Scarborough to be recorded for television by the BBC.

○ Men On Women On Men was the first musical revue by Alan Ayckbourn and Paul Todd, they would go on to write 10 revues and two full-length musicals together.
○ Men On Women On Men was a late night revue produced in the Studio space at the Stephen Joseph Theatre In The Round.
○ Men On Women On Men was recorded by the BBC and broadcast on BBC 1 (north of England only) on 2 February 1979. The cast featured Alison Skilbeck instead of Fiona Mathieson.
