The playwriting debut of the actor Michael Cashman who would find national fame as Colin in the BBC soap opera EastEnders and who then would become an extremely prominent MEP known for his prominence as a gay and human rights activist.

Notes

Before Your Very Eyes marked the writing debut of the actor Michael Cashman at the Stephen Joseph Theatre In The Round. Michael was a prominent member of the company for several years, but later became better known as Colin Russell in the BBC's Eastenders - a character involved in the first gay kiss in a British soap opera. He went onto become an MEP and a prominent gay and human rights activist.
