Why is this play significant?
The professional playwriting debut of the award-winning writer Robert Shearman, who would have a number of plays produced in Scarborough over the next decade. Robert would go on to to work on stage and screen, notably Dalek -the award-winning episode of the long-running BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who which reintroduced the famed monsters back to the screen after a break of 17 years. Robert is now best known as an award-winning and acclaimed prose writer.Notes
