Notes
Easter had originally been produced for the Studio Theatre’s recent winter tour - which also Harold Pinter’s included The Birthday Party. It was then revived - briefly - at Theatre in the Round at the Library Theatre during the summer season.
Easter was the only play presented for just a week during the summer 1959 season at Theatre in the Round at the Library Theatre.
This was Peter Watt's translation of Strindberg's play.
This is believed to be the first professional in-the-round production of Easter in the UK.
Easter was presented without an interval.
