○ In Camera (original Huis Clos) was actually first produced in London by Stephen Joseph's company on 3 February 1957, having previously been banned by the Lord Chamberlain's Office. It was at this production - the first UK production of the play - that Alan Ayckbourn saw the company and theatre in the round for the first time.
