○ Victoria Regina was apparently one of Stephen Joseph's favourite plays.
○ The production presented nine of the thirty short plays Housman wrote about Queen Victoria. These were: 1837 The Six O'Clock Call; 1838 Suitable Suitors; 1839 Woman Proposes; 1841 Leading Strings; 1861 Intervention; 1877 The Queen! God Bless Her!; 1881 Her Favourite Flower; 1882 Religious Difficulties; 1897 Happy and Glorious.
○ This is believed to be the first professional in-the-round production of Victoria Regina in the UK.
