Hop, Step & Jump marked the second - and final - world premiere of a play by noted northern playwright Alan Plater for the Scarborough company.
The 1966 summer season Theatre in the Round at the Library Theatre, Scarborough, was notable for having in its company, two young actors who would go on to considerable stage and screen success in Robert Powell and John Nettles.
