Notes
○ The Shy Gasman was the second of two world premieres by the writer Leonard Barras at Theatre in the Round at the Library Theatre following A Little Stiff Built Chap in 1969.
○ The Shy Gasman consists of three short plays linked by the 'shy gasman' Lindsay as he tells of his experiences reading meters. Each play being one of his experiences: These Inquitous Corn Laws, Gracious Days and The Fluff Picker.
○ For an unknown reason - presumably popularity - The Shy Gasman was extended for a week. An advert in archive for the week 13 - 19 August shows The Shy Gasman replacing the initially advertised The American Dream.
