○ The Village That Woke Up Asleep was a late addition to the 1975 summer schedule. Following the success of the Saturday morning children's show The Adventures of Bongo Bungle, Janet Dale was commissioned to write another Saturday morning show - performed in three parts over three weeks - for children.
○ No programme is held in archive for The Village That Woke Up Asleep and there are no press cuttings held in archive relating to the play. As a result, no details other than performance dates and the author are known.
○ Tickets were priced at 5p for children and 10p for adults.
