Notes
○ The Jubilee Show is something of a mystery as no record was kept of the play in archive. It only came to light when a manuscript for the revue was discovered by archivist and theatre historian Simon Murgatroyd in 2007. Details about the play are limited to the single surviving manuscript and an advert for the play (although the production was unnamed in the advert).
○ The revue was co-written by Alan Ayckbourn and Mervyn Watson, although it seems likely most of it was written by Watson.
○ The Jubilee Show was performed on the day of the Silver Jubilee celebrating the anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. It was performed only once, was not a success and was not seen by many people.
