It Could Be Any One Of Us is a thriller which features a random 'killer' every night. The choice of the evening's killer is decided when a particular card is drawn during a game of cards early in the play.
Despite being a thriller, no character was actually murdered in the original version of the play; it was only when Alan Ayckbourn revised and revived the play in 1996, that an actual murder takes place.
