Notes
○ 'Prentice Pillar was the first play to be revived by Studio Theatre Ltd at Theatre in the Round at the Library Theatre, Scarborough. It received its world premiere at the venue during its inaugural season in 1955 and further details can be found here.
○ Originally scheduled to run in repertory throughout the summer season until 17 August, 'Prentice Pillar actually only lasted a single week before the entire summer schedule was altered and its later productions replaced by two week runs of Love After All and Wuthering Heights.
○ The brochure for the 1960 summer season at Theatre in the Round at the Library Theatre incorrectly states the play was first produced in 1956, rather than 1955.
○ 'Prentice Pillar was presented without an interval.
