○ This one man show was the first new play to be presented at the Stephen Joseph Theatre In The Round, Scarborough, following its move from Theatre in the Round at the Library Theatre earlier in the year.
○ The popularity of the production led it to also being presented out of season at the Theatre In The Round at Westwood from 14 - 19 February 1977.
○ The Guv’nor also had another - if unexpected revival - from 2 - 5 November 1977 when Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? was cancelled mid-run and hastily replaced with The Guv’nor.
